DOES BETA-ALANINE WORK IMMEDIATELY?

Not in the way a stimulant does.

You might notice beta-alanine’s famous tingling sensation after taking a serving, but that sensation is not proof that your muscle carnosine has suddenly increased.

WHEN SHOULD YOU TAKE BETA-ALANINE?

The best time to take beta-alanine is the time that allows you to take it consistently.

Because its main function is increasing muscle carnosine over time, daily intake matters more than whether you take it exactly 20 minutes before training.

You can take beta-alanine:

·         With a meal

WHAT CAUSES THE BETA-ALANINE TINGLE?

Beta-alanine can produce a temporary tingling, prickling or itching sensation called paraesthesia.
